Pilar de la Horadada is the southernmost municipality of the province of Alicante. To get there, go on the A-7 towards Murcia “, take exit 77 (Torrevieja / Cartagena) and follow the signs. We can also go by bus or train from Alicante.
Things to do in Pilar
Pilar de la Horadada has more than 5km of coastline, as well as spectacular beaches; including the famous Mil Palmeras and La Playa del Conde.
Located in the hamlet of Mil Palmeras, at the natural river mouth, of the Seco River, which crosses the municipality. This beach is one of the busiest because of its easy access (it has wheelchair access) and its beauty. Surrounding this beach we will find the Vista Mar Beach and the Río Seco Beach. The three of fine white sand.
Playa del Conde beach
This beach with golden sand and calm waters is located at the foot of the 16th-century watchtower, which is the symbol of the municipality.
It also has a ramp that makes it accessible in a wheelchair.
